My work centers on advancing equitable, person-centered care for individuals with IDD, particularly those who experience stigma or present with complex behavioral needs. I am passionate about addressing disparities in access and advocating for vulnerable populations through systems-level leadership and clinical operations. My background includes leading inpatient behavioral health units where I developed safety programs, staff training, and care pathways for individuals with significant behavioral challenges. I have also managed grant-funded initiatives focused on reducing stigma and improving care coordination for patients with substance use disorders—another population often marginalized within healthcare systems. Now at the Center for Disabilities and Development, I lead strategic initiatives to improve access, optimize interdisciplinary care delivery, and support inclusive service models that meet the unique needs of children and families impacted by IDD. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed, stigma-reducing practices and a commitment to sustainable, data-informed improvements.
