Biography

I am primarily interested in prenatal and neonatal risk factors and genetic and epigenetic mechanisms in the development of neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, autism, etc.), with a particular focus on the development of these disorders in infants born preterm. My academic training and research experiences thus far have provided me with an excellent background in molecular genetics, prenatal and neonatal risk factors, statistical methods, and characterization of symptoms of neurodevelopmental disorders. My training and research interests are of relevant to IDD given the increased risk for neurodevelopmental/cognitive impairments in infants born preterm.
