Biography

My scholarly focus centers on the area of psychology of physical activity to enhance motor performance and health in individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. More specifically, I seek to uncover the effect of physical activity on executive function and sleep in Down syndrome. Currently, I am working towards a research project on the benefits of adapted and inclusive physical activity course in regard to physical, social and executive functions in young adults with intellectual disabilities. Additionally, I employ electroencephalography technique and behavioral measures to address these research aims.
