Biography
My research mainly focuses on epigenetic mechanisms underlying the neurobiology of prenatal stress and its effect on neurodevelopmental disorders (Autism, ADHD, etc.). I am currently using the maternal immune activation mice model to understand the neural circuit associated with social deficits. Further using molecular techniques such as RT-qPCR, fluorescent insitu hybridization, translated ribosome affinity purification, and chromatin immunoprecipitation, I would like to elucidate the underlying molecular or epigenetic mechanisms. My future goal is to investigate the effects of prenatal ethanol exposure on epigenome reprogramming and its relation to neurodevelopmental disorders.
