I look at the use of neuromodulation to treat neuropsychiatric diseases. We have conducted feasibility studies using transcranial magnetic stimulation of the cerebellum in patients with autism spectrum disorder. We are also interested in studying clinical outcomes in patients with intellectual disability and mental illness who are receiving electroconvulsive therapy for psychiatric illness.
